Dark Tourism as a new trend in international tourism

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce "Dark Tourism jako nový trend v mezinárodním cestovním ruchu" je charakterizovat temný cestovní ruch a lokalizovat vybrané příklady v Evropě a České republice. První část práce se zabývá obecným pojednáním o mezinárodním cestovním ruchu. Vymezeny jsou formy a druhy, mezi které patří i temný cestovní ruch. Tomu se věnuje druhá část této práce, která zahrnuje definici a genezi pojmu Dark Tourism. Charakterizovány jsou motivy účastníků na straně poptávky a klasifikace temného cestovního ruchu na straně nabídky. V rámci typologie jsou představeny vybrané příklady z Evropy. Ve třetí části jsou charakterizovány vybrané příklady z České republiky.

Abstract:

The main goal of the bachelor thesis "Dark Tourism as a new trend of international tourism" is to characterize Dark Tourism and to locate selected examples in Europe and the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with general treatise about international tourism. Forms and types are defined, including Dark Tourism. This is the second part of the thesis, includes the definition and genesis of the term Dark Tourism. There are characterized the motives of the participants on the demand side and the classification of Dark Tourism on the supply side. Within the typology the selected examples from Europe are presented. In the third part are presented selected examples from the Czech Republic.
