Jakub Arbes as a stimulus for creative writing (didactic method) in literary education

Abstract:

Tato práce má v zorném úhlu přinejmenším dva základní cíle. Za prvé: být srozumitelným a inspirativním příspěvkem k uplatnění didaktické metody tvůrčího psaní v literární výchově. Za druhé: přinést pokud možno komplexní podklad pro novou ontodidaktickou a psychodidaktickou transformaci osobnosti a tvorby vybraného českého autora, Jakuba Arbesa. K prvnímu cíli jsem směřoval intencionálně, druhý cíl de facto vyplynul jako vedlejší produkt z potřebných analýz a zkoumání tématu. V první kapitole, věnované analýze literárněhistorické problematiky, jsem zhodnotil stav dosavadního bádání o Jakubu Arbesovi (v zásadních syntézách, monotématických příspěvcích atd.). Dále následovalo zhodnocení obsahu kurikulárních dokumentů (RVP a příklad jeho konkrétního řešení v ŠVP) a didaktických příruček (učebnic), potřebné pro zrekonstruování horizontu znalostí středoškolského studenta o daném problému (kapitola druhá). Zde jsem se snažil zodpovědět zejména tyto otázky: jaký prostor je věnován Jakubu Arbesovi ve vyučování literatury; jaké koncepty jsou touto výukou vytvářeny; v čem jsou tyto koncepty zastaralé, mylné aj.; existuje nevyužitý didaktický potenciál tématu? Na provedené shrnutí vědeckého bádání a jeho závěrů z první kapitoly jsem navázal v kapitole třetí. Ta obsahuje zamyšlení nad využitelností a elementarizací širokého pole arbesovských poznatků v rámci potřeb vzdělávání. Ve specifické ontodidaktické reflexi jsem se zabývat jen těmi poznatky, které mohou být produktivními a živými podněty pro školu dneška. Poučen analýzou didaktického uchopení zkoumaného předmětu jsem usilovat o to, aby byly tyto podněty zároveň vhodně využívány k odstranění nedostatků školských pojetí, tzv. miskonceptů. Zároveň jsem odůvodnil výběr všech konkrétních arbesovských podnětů z didaktického hlediska a naznačil jsem jeho přínos pro literární výchovu. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsem krátce a obecně zrekapituloval metodu tvůrčího psaní v kontextu literární výchovy (podstata metody; její místo v RVP; jaké jsou její výhody a omezení; jak je této metody dosud využíváno). Vzápětí jsem přistoupil k rozpracování vytčených podnětů, v němž jsem uplatnil rozličné aktivity tvůrčího psaní (pátá až sedmá kapitola). K teoretickému pozadí těchto úloh, k jejich popisu i popisu jejich didaktické využitelnosti jsem připojil rovněž podněty a reflexe dílčích otázek načerpané z praktické realizace těchto úloh v tvůrčím semináři. Přirozenou součástí této reflexe se pak staly rovněž ukázky prací vytvořených účastníky semináře, na nichž lze dokládat či vyvracet pravdivost hypotéz, s nimiž jsem do tohoto bádání vstoupil. Právě pátá, šestá a sedmá kapitola tvoří empirickou část disertační práce. Přinesl jsem v nich komplexní reflexi všech kreativních aktivit, jež jsem vytěžil z arbesovské inspirace, připravil a prakticky provedl se svými studenty. Tato reflexe mne pak v závěru dovede, jak doufám, i k formulaci některých nových obecných poznatků z oboru tvůrčího psaní, zejména v oblasti možností a mezí aplikace metody v didaktice literární výchovy (konfrontace očekávání s výsledky práce; výhody a hendikepy této metody apod.).

Abstract:

My thesis is aimed at two main goals. First of all to be an intelligible and inspiring contribution for the applications of teaching methods creative writting in the literary education. Second of all to bring if possible complex ground for the new didactic perspective and psycho-didactic transformation of personality and creative work of a Czech writer, Jakub Arbes. In the first chapter I dedicated to analysis of the literature-historic isssue I reviewed existing research on Jakub Arbes (in the key syntheses of mono-thematic contributions etc.) Following further evaluation of the curriculum documents (RVP and an example of a specific solution in ŠVP) and didactic tools (textbooks) which are needed for the re-constructing the horizon of knowledge of highschool student about the specific problem (chapter two). I was trying to anwer especially these questions: How much space iss dedicated to Jakub Arbes in the teaching of literature, which concepts are created by this tuition, in what are these concepts old fashioned, wrong etc., there is unlimited didactic potential of this topic. I have concluded the carried out summary of the scientific research and its conclusions from the chapter one and carred on in the chapter three. It contains thoughts about the usability and elementarisation of this wide field of Arbesis' findings within the educational needs. In the specific onto/dicactic reflection I have dealt with these findings which could be productive and life stimulation for todays school. I have always justified the choice of its concrete Arbes's initiative from the didactic point of view and motioned its benefits for the literature education. In the fourth chapter I have shorly generally recapitulated the method of the creative writting in the context of the literature education. (The principle of this method, its place in RVP, what are the advantages and limitations, how is this method used). Then I acceded the developing the particular initiative, in which I applied different activities of creative writting (fifth and seventh chapter). I have connected the innitiatives and reflection and description to the theoretical background of these tasks of partial questions drawn from practical implementation of these tasks in this creative seminar. The natural part of this reflections has become also illustrations of works created from the participants of the seminar in which can be proven or disproven the truthfulness of hypotheses in which I have entered this research. It is the fifth, sixth and seventh chapter forms empirical part of this theses. I have brought the complete reflection of al creative reflection activities which I gained from the Arbes inspiration and I prepared and practically implemented with my students. This reflection brought me to the conclusion of some new general knowledge from the field of creative writting in particular in the field of possibilities and limitations of implemanting of this method in the didactics of literature education (confrontation of expectation with its results of works, advanteges and handicaps of this method etc.).
