Evaluation of selected biomechanical parameters in root syndromes treated with the spiral stabilization method

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá hodnocením změn zatížení přední a zadní části chodidla a průmětem těžiště u pacientů s diagnózou kořenového syndromu léčených metodou Spirální stabilizace a mobilizace MUDr. Smíška (SM systém). Teoretická část popisuje kineziologii, biomechaniku a posturální mechanismy páteře. Dále se zabývá vertebrogenními obtížemi včetně kořenových syndromů bederní páteře a možnosti fyzioterapie. V praktické části jsou prezentovány tři kazuistiky pacientů s kořenovým syndromem bederní páteře, kteří podstoupili terapii SM systémem ve formě skupinové terapie a následnou navazující autoterapii. Cílem práce bylo ověřit, zda se intervence SM metody projeví změnou ve sledovaných parametrech. Vybraní pacienti podstoupili vyšetření na podobarografické plošině FreeMed. Sledovanými parametry byly zatížení předonoží, zadonoží ve stoji a v chůzi a průmět těžiště při Rombergově testu s otevřenýma a zavřenýma očima. Uvedená práce poskytuje pilotní výsledky.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a topic of evaluation of the changes in the loading of a forefoot and rearfoot and the centre of gravity in patients with diagnosis of root syndrome, who were treated by The Spiral Stabilization and Mobilization method invented by MUDr. Smíšek (SM method). The theoretical part describes the kinesiology, biomechanics and postural mechanisms of the spine. It also contains with vertebrogenic disorders, including lumbar root syndromes and physiotherapy options. The practical part presents three patients case study with lumbar root syndrome, who underwent SM system therapy in the form of group therapy and subsequent follow-up self-therapy. The aim of this thesis was to verify whether the intervention of the SM method in a change studied parameters. Selected patients underwent tests on podobarography platform FreeMed. Observed parametrs were forefoot and rearfoot loading in standing and walking and the centre of gravity during Romberg test with open and closed eyes. This thesis provides a pilot results.
