The Social Heritage of T. G. Masaryk to the Modern Czech Society

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá myšlenkami T. G. Masaryka, které jej doprovázely po celý jeho život a jsou přínosem současné době. Především jde o myšlenky filozofické a sociální. Teo-retická část práce v první části chronologicky zpracovává Masarykův život od jeho mládí, přes vznik Československa až po jeho úmrtí a v části druhé se zaměřuje na výkon jeho pro-fesí. Při zpracování tohoto textu bylo vycházeno ze studia hlavních Masarykových děl, na jejichž základě byla zpracována jak teoretická část, tak praktická. V části praktické bylo formou obsahové analýzy nastíněno ucelené Masarykovo smýšlení o jednotlivých tématech, které bylo doplněno o komentář autora, kterým tyto dané témata vztahuje k současnosti. V jednotlivých tématech se autor snaží naleznout sociální odkaz, který by byl současné společnosti přínosný.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the ideas of T. G. Masaryk, who was accompanied by them, all the life. Primarily, his philosophical and social ideas are the benefit nowadays. Masa-ryk's life, from his youth, through the inception of the Czechoslovakia, to the death, is chronologically described in the first part of the theoretical part of the thesis, and the sec-ond part includes the performance of his professions. The text adaptation, as well as the theoretical and practical part of the theses, was based on the study of the main Masaryk's works. As the content analysis, his coherent views on the individual subjects are outlined in the practical part. It was complemented by the comments of the author, which connect these themes with the present days. The author tries to find a social reference that would be beneficial nowadays.
