Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvoření nástroje walkability auditu, které umožní zachycení kvality urbánního designu na mikroúrovni a v co možná nejjemnějším měřítku na vybraných ulicích centra Ostravy. Práce vychází z konceptu walkability. Je zastřešena v dnešní době oblíbeným konceptem liveability, který je zaměřen na zvyšování kvality života a podporu rozvoje městských center. Výzkum je založen na terénním sběru dat a jejich vyhodnocení.

Abstract:

The main goal of this thesis is to create the walkability audit tool that will enable the capture of the quality of urban design at the micro level and on the finest possible scale of main selected streets in the center of Ostrava. The work is based on the concept of walkability. It is part of popular concept of liveability, which is focused on improving the quality of life and supporting the development of city centers. The research is based on field data collection and evaluation.
