Research of the approach of statutory cities in the Czech Republic to the transformation to Smart Cities

Anotace:

Tématem diplomové práce je zkoumání stavu transformace statutárních měst v České republice na Smart City. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, zda se města transformací zabývají a jak k transformaci přistupují. Práce je členěna do dvou hlavních částí. V první části se věnuje teoretickému základu ohledně problematiky Smart Cities. Je zde definován pojem Smart City, zmíněny koncepty, pomocí kterých lze na problematiku nahlížet a popsána metodika konceptu Smart City pro Českou republiku. Dále jsou v práci zmíněny technologie, které Smart City využívá a představení již realizovaných projektů v rámci vybraných českých měst. V druhé části práce jsou na základě předchozí části formulovány výzkumné hypotézy a otázky, které slouží k sestavení dotazníkového šetření pro statutární města, pomocí něhož je zjišťován současný stav transformace za použití smart přístupů a také jakou vizi mají města v této oblasti do budoucna.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis is to examine the state of transformation of statutory cities in the Czech Republic into a smart city. The main aim of this thesis is to find out whether cities deal with transformation and how they approach transformation. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with the theoretical basis of the issue of Smart Cities. The term Smart City is defined here, there are mentioned concepts by which the issue can be viewed and also the methodology of the Smart City concept for the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work mentions the technologies that Smart City uses and the presentation of already implemented projects in selected Czech cities. In the second part, based on the previous part, research hypotheses and questions are formulated, which are used to compile a questionnaire survey for statutory cities, which is used to determine the current state of transformation using smart approaches and what vision cities have in this area in the future.
