Application of the concept of Fair Trade in the public administration

Abstract:

První část této bakalářské práce je obecně zaměřena na koncepci fair trade, popis základních principů a způsoby značení fairtradových výrobků. Jsou zde uvedeny faktografické údaje o světovém, britském a českém trhu s fairtradovými výrobky. Další část práce je zaměřena především na způsoby, jak může fair trade proniknout do veřejné správy a jsou zde uvedeny příklady evropských států, u kterých to již dlouhodobě funguje. Ve výzkumné části je pomocí e-mailové korespondence s příslušnými orgány zjištěna míra penetrace fairtradových výrobků do veřejné správy v České republice. V práci je také představena společnost mamacoffee, pro niž je na základě zjištěného stavu vytvořen návrh, který má napomoci zlepšit současnou situaci fair trade ve veřejné správě v České republice.

Abstract:

The first part of the bachelor thesis is generally focused on the concept of Fair Trade, a description of the basic principles and methods for marking Fair Trade products. This thesis presents factual information about the world, the British and the Czech market with Fair Trade products. Next part is focused on possibilities for Fair Trade to penetrate the public administration and there are also given the examples of European countries where it works for a long time. In the research part, there is through e-mail correspondence with the competent authorities detected penetration rate of Fair Trade products in public administration in the Czech Republic. There is also introduced company mamacoffee, for which is according to the results of the research created a proposal, which should help improve the current situation of Fair Trade in the public administration in the Czech Republic.
