Authorial Nonsense Fairy-Tale in Literature Education Curriculum at Elementary Schools

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje problematice nonsensové pohádky v učivu literární výchovy na základní škole. Teoretická část se nejprve zaměřuje na vymezení pojmu nonsens, poté na genezi nonsensové pohádky v české literatuře a teorii nonsensového humoru. Pozornost je rovněž věnována problematice školní literární výchovy a pozici nonsensové pohádky v čítankách na základní škole. V praktické části jsou prezentovány výsledky pedagogického výzkumu, který byl realizován v měsíci březnu 2012 na vybraných základních školách Královéhradeckého kraje. Zvolenou cílovou skupinou byli žáci 5. a 9. tříd. Cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit, zda existují rozdíly ve vnímání jazykové komiky v rovině intelektuálního vtipu mezi žáky 5. a 9. ročníků. Za tímto účelem byl použit text nonsensové pohádky A. Mikulky. Výsledky výzkumného šetření rozdíly prokázaly. Žáci devátých ročníků jsou schopni rozpoznat nejen nonsensový vtip na úrovni lexika, ale i v rovině intelektuální na rozdíl od žáků pátých tříd, kteří preferují jazykovou komiku založenou na použití nezvyklé slovní zásoby.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the issue of nonsense fairy-tale in literary education curriculum at elementary schools. The theoretical part firstly deals with the definition of the term nonsense; it further focuses on the genesis of nonsense fairy-tale in Czech literature and theory of nonsense humor. Special attention is paid to the issue of literary education at schools and the position of nonsense fairy-tale in elementary schools readers. The practical part presents the results of pedagogical research conducted in March 2012 at selected schools form Hradec Králové region. The selected target groups were students of 5th and 9th grade. The aim of the research was to prove the existence of differences in perception of language comic on the intellectual joke level between 5th and 9th graders. For that purpose a fairy-tale by Alois Mikulka was used. The research results have proved the differences exist. The 9th graders are able to distinguish nonsense jokes not only on the lexical level, but also on the intellectual level, unlike the 5th graders, who prefer language comic based on the use of unusual vocabulary.
