Abstract:

The diploma thesis consists from two main parts: theoretical and practical one. Main purpose of diploma thesis is application of theoretical knowledge on practise in order to develop business in reality. The subject of business plan is a company running, which will operate in Czech Republic, in organic fertilizer market with the product, selling under own company’s brand. Theoretical part will familiarize with definition, purpose, aims, objectives and types of business plan, will explain business planning process, present business plan structure and theoretical approaches, which will be used in practical part. Practical part will be focused on application of all theoretical material to particular company. Business plan practical part will describe company itself, the product, products competitive advantage, industry of operation will be determined. In marketing part such methods as Porter’s five forces analysis, PESTLE analysis and SWOT analysis will be applied, in order to suggest most appropriate marketing strategy. Financial part includes main financial statements, which are balance sheet, cash flow statement, and income statement. Moreover economic evaluation analysis such as net present value and payback period determination, internal rate of return and break-even point analysis. Finally, risks of the project will be recognized.
