Sound recording underwater and it's use in Sound post-production

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je souhrnně představit základy záznamu podvodních zvuků a seznámit čtenáře s teoretickými a praktickými znalostmi. Protože není mnoho česky psané literatury o tomto tématu, věřím v přínos této práce. Teoretická část se zabývá jak historií podvodního snímání, tak i problematikou šíření zvuku ve vodě. Analytická část je zaměřena na experimentování s hydrofony pod vodní hladinou. Součástí této práce je i datový nosič, který obsahuje všechny zmíněné nahrávky a ukázky. Jedná se o praktickou část.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to introduce comprehensively the basics of underwater sounds recordings and to make the readers familiar with theoretical and practical knowledge. As there are not many Czech written sources for this topic, I believe this thesis might be an asset. The theoretical part deals both with the history of underwater recording and acoustic problems in the water. The analytic part is aimed at experimenting with hydrophones underwater. The thesis includes also a data carrier containing all the mentioned recordings and clips. It is a practical part of the thesis.
