Plant secondary metabolites – benefit for a plant and human
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje poznatky o hlavních skupinách sekundárních metabolitů rostlin a jejich biosyntéze u širšího spektra druhů, zabývá se možnostmi jejich biotechnologické produkce na základě identifikace genů pro klíčové enzymy. Blíže se věnuje čeledi bobovité a jejímu významu pro člověka z hlediska využití sekundárních metabolitů.
Abstract:
This work summarizes the knowledge about the main groups of plant secondary metabolites and their biosynthesis in wider range of plant species, deals with the possibility of their biotechnological production based on the identification of genes for key enzymes. It provides a closer look at the Fabaceae family and its importance for humans in terms of utilization of secondary metabolites.
