Bullying in a school environment and its prevention

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem "Šikana ve školním prostředí a její prevence" se na začátku zaměřuje na agresi a agresivitu jedince. Poukazuje na možné příčiny zvýšené agresivity u jedince a případné možnosti práce s takovýmto jedincem. Hlavním tématem celé bakalářské práce je však šikana a její prevence. K řešení šikany ve školním prostředí je zapotřebí odlišit, zda se jedná skutečně o šikanu, nebo zda jde o podobný fenomén, a to škádlení. Aby se při řešení šikany ve školním prostředí dosáhlo úspěchu, je nutné znát formy šikany a v jakém stadiu se šikana nachází. V závěru teoretické části se práce věnuje důsledkům šikanování, prevenci šikany a organizacím, které se zabývají problematikou šikany. Pro získání dat v praktické části byly využity rozhovory s respondenty. Díky výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že většina respondentů se někomu svěřila a že prevenci ve školním prostředí považují za nedostačující. Práce by mohla pomoci s vytvořením lepších preventivních aktivit pedagogům, ale i obětem šikany.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis entitled "Bullying in the school environment and its prevention" initially focuses on aggression and aggressiveness of the individual. It points to the possible causes of increased aggressiveness in the individual and the possible options of working with such an individual. But the main topic of the entire bachelor thesis is bullying and its prevention. In order to solve bullying in the school environment, it is necessary to distinguish whether it is really bullying, or whether it is a similar phenomenon, namely teasing. In order to be successful in dealing with bullying in the school environment, it is necessary to know the forms of bullying and at what stage bullying occurs. At the end of the theoretical part, the thesis is devoted to the consequences of bullying, prevention of bullying and the organizations that deal with the issue of bullying. Interviews with respondents were used to obtain data in the practical part. Thanks to the research, it was found that the majority of respondents confided in someone, and that they consider prevention in the school environment to be insufficient. The thesis could be of help with the creation of better preventive activities for pedagogues, but also for victims of bullying.
