Analysis of life contentment of special school teachers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice analýzy životní spokojenosti učitelů speciálních škol. Cílem práce je analyzovat životní spokojenost učitelů speciálních škol, zjistit pozitivní a negativní stránky a pokusit se o návrh opatření, která by eventuelně zjištěné negativní elementy eliminovala. Teoretická část se zabývá zvoleným tématem bakalářské práce. Pozornost věnujeme především obecnému vymezení problematiky životní spokojenosti a určujícím determinantům. Dále se zaobíráme oblastí speciálního školství. Empirická část práce má charakter kvantitativního výzkumu a naším cílem je nalezení specifik životní spokojenosti v závislosti na věku a délce praxe. Výzkum je realizován prostřednictvím standardizovaného Dotazníku životní spokojenosti (Fahrenberk a kol., 2001). Na základě výzkumu jsou formulovány závěry a doporučení, která jsou dle našeho názoru využitelná v praxi speciální pedagogiky intervence a dalších tzv. pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the analysis of the life satisfaction of special school teachers. The aim of the work is to analyze the life satisfaction of teachers of special schools, to find out the positive and negative aspects and to try to propose measures that could possibly eliminate the negative elements found. The theoretical part deals with the chosen topic of the bachelor thesis. We mainly pay attention to the general definition of the issue of life satisfaction and the determining determinants. We also deal with the field of special education. The empirical part of the work has the character of quantitative research and our goal is to determine life satisfaction depending on age and length of practice. The research is conducted through a standardized Life Satisfaction Questionnaire (Fahrenberk et al., 2001). Based on the research, conclusions and recommendations are formulated, which, in our opinion, can be used in the practice of special intervention pedagogy and other so-called helping professions.
