Differences between the First Language Acquisition of Slovak and Dutch Children and the Influence of these Differences on the Second Llanguage Acquisition of Dutch by Slovak Students

Abstract:

Hlavnou témou mojej diplomovej práce je priebeh akvizície materského jazyka slovenských a holandských detí. Svoju pozornosť zameriavam na rozdiely, ktoré sú medzi akvizíciou týchto dvoch jazykov a snažím sa nájsť odpoveď na otázku, či tieto rozdiely majú vplyv na priebeh akvizície holandčiny ako druhého jazyka slovenských študentov.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on first language acquisition of Slovak and Dutch children and the differences between these two processes. The main question is if there is a connection between the first and the second language acquisition and if the differences have some impact on the second language acquisition of Dutch language by Slovak students.
