Proteiny ADAR jsou enzymy vážící dvouvláknovou RNA (dsRNA), které jsou nejlépe známé svou schopností katalyzovat editaci RNA typu adenosin-na-inosin (A-to-I). ADAR proteins are dsRNA-binding enzymes best known for catalyzing adenosine-to-inosine RNA editing, but increasing evidence supports additional editing-independent roles in gene regulation and innate immunity.
