Multidetector computed tomography angiography arteries of lower extremities - comparison with other examination methods

Abstract:

Tématicky je bakalářská práce zaměřena na vyšetření tepen dolních končetin, které se provádějí pomocí multidetektorové výpočetní tomografické angiografie, ultrasonografie, magnetické rezonanční angiografie a digitální subtrakční angiografie. Teoretická část vychází z dostupné odborné literatury. Je uvedena historickým vývojem, dále obsahuje odborné pojetí výše zmíněných metod. Praktická část je založena na porovnání přínosu jednotlivých technik na tepnách dolních končetin a zároveň srovnává věk, diagnózy a pohlaví pacientů. Cílem práce je vymezení místa pro MDCTA v radiodiagnostickém algoritmu. Studie vychází z databáze radiodiagnostického oddělení Fakultní nemocnice Ostrava z roku 2009.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis focuses on the examination of lower limb arteries, which are performed using multidetector computed tomographic angiography, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance angiography and digital subtraction angiography. The theoretical part is based on the available scientific literature. This section is introduced to historical developments, the concept also includes training above mentioned methods. The research is based on a comparison of the benefits of the techniques of arteries of lower extremities and also compares the age, sex and diagnosis of patients. The targer of this work is to define the order of multidetector computed tomographic angiography in radiodiagnostical algorithm. The study is based on a database radiodiagnostic Department University Hospital of Ostrava in 2009.
