Ceremony Prana Pratistha

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Obřad Prana Pratistha se zabývá indickým rituálem Prana Pratistha. Tento obřad se uskutečnil v rámci slavnosti otevření nového ášramu jógické školy Kundaliní-mahájógy 21.-25. prosince 2006 v indickém státě Gudžarát ve vesnici Nikora. Na začátku práce se věnuji seznámení se zdroji informací k výzkumu obřadu Prana Pratistha. Informace vycházejí z mého výzkumu obřadu Prana Pratistha nejenom v ášramu v Nikoře, ale také ze zkušenosti vykonání dalšího obřadu Prana Pratistha s jógínem Dr.Marutim ve Váránasí. V další kapitole představuji guru Šrí Dhjánjógidžího, Šrí Anandi Ma a Šrí Dilípdžího, kteří jsou učiteli indické jógické školy Kundaliní-mahájógy. Šrí Anandi Ma a Šrí Dilípdží jsou následovníci zemřelého guru Šrí Dhjánjógidžího a pořadatelé obřadu Prana Pratistha v Nikoře. Pak vysvětluji co je kundaliní-jóga, jak jí vykládají někteří badatelé a jak ji popisuje sám guru této jógy Dhjánjógidží. Dále následuje kapitola, která se zabývá obecně rituálem a poté konkrétněji indickými rituály. Popisuji zde třídění indických náboženských rituálů, jejich původ a kontext. Poté již následuje podrobný výzkum obřadu Prana Pratistha v ášramu v Nikoře. Tato část obsahuje překlad slova Prana Pratistha, stáří a původ obřadu, popis obřadních míst atd. Následuje podrobný popis průběhu obřadu a objasnění jeho významu a výkladu, který mu přisuzují Anandi Ma a Dilípdží. V další části také překládám klíčovou mantru Prana Pratistha. Poslední kapitola pojednává o průběhu obřadu Prana Pratistha u Dr.Marutiho ve Váránasí. Také zde předkládám výklad obřadu, jak mi jej Dr.Maruti sdělil. Na konci práce shrnuji, že obřad Prana Pratistha je rituál, kterým se přivádí prána (životní energie) guru či božstva do jeho zobrazení ve formě sochy nebo obrazu. V úplném závěru dávám do vztahů teorie o rituálech, které jsem popsal, s obřadem Prana Pratistha.

Abstract:

The bachelor work Ceremony Prana Pratistha deals with Indian ritual Prana Pratistha. This ceremony was performed within the celebration of opening of new ashram of the yoga group Kundalini Maha Yoga in the Indian state Gujarat in the village Nikora at 21.-25. December 2006. At the beginning of the work I introduce the sources of information for my research of the ceremony Prana Pratistha. These sources come from my research of the ceremony Prana Pratistha at ashram in Nikora and the next ceremony Prana Pratistha in Varanasi which I performed with yogi Dr. Maruti at his house. Then I introduce gurus Shri Dhjanyogi, Shri Anandi Ma and Shri Deleepji who are teachers of the Indian lineage Kundalini Maha Yoga. Shri Anandi Ma and Shri Deleepji are heirs of the late guru Shri Dhjanyogi and conveners of the ceremony Prana Pratistha in Nikora. Afterwards I describe the Kundalini-yoga how some scholars interpret it and next how Shri Dhjanyogi interprets it. The following chapter deals with the ritual generally and then with Indian rituals in particular. Here I describe classification of the Indian religious rituals, their origin and context. Afterwards the research of the ceremony Prana Pratistha at ashram in Nikora follows. The part of the work contents translation of words Prana Pratistha, age and origin of the ritual, description of the ritual places etc. Then I describe all the process of the ceremony and explain meaning and interpretation by Shri Anandi Ma, Shri Deleepji and Dr. Maruti. In the next chapter I translate the most important mantra Prana Pratistha. The last chapter treats of all the process of the ceremony Prana Pratistha with Dr. Maruti in Varanasi. Here I bring the interpretation of the ceremony by Dr. Maruti. At the end I summarize that the ceremony Prana Pratistha is the ritual whereby it is installed prana (vital energy) of guru or deity into his form (statue or painting). At the close I put into the relation the theories of the rituals which I described and the ceremony Prana Pratistha.
