The meaning of aktivization for preservation of quality seniors life

Abstract:

Vybrala jsem si téma pro mou bakalářskou práci, protože je mé oblíbené a dává mi velký smysl. Název mé bakalářské práce je: Význam aktivizace pro uchování kvality života seniorů. V teoretické části jsem se soustředila na definici a periodizaci stáří a na některá onemocnění, kterými často staří lide onemocní. Hlavní kapitola je o aktivizaci seniorů. Psala jsem o různých technikách aktivizace v jednotlivých podkapitolách. Tyto techniky obsahují arteterapii, muzikoterapii a reminiscenci. Další hlavní kapitola byla o organizaci a službách Spolku Pretium, ve kterém jsem se rozhodla provést výzkum. Rozhodla jsem se provést výzkum, ve kterém jsem použila polostandardizovaný rozhovor s klienty Spolku Pretia. Nejprve jsem si vytvořila výzkumné otázky a potom jsem šla ke klientům domu, a udělala jsem s nimi rozhovor. Chtěla jsem zjistit, jak se dozvěděli o Spolku Pretium, jestli jim techniky aktivizace vyhovují a jestli jsou spokojeni než dříve. Po provedení rozhovorů jsem je vyhodnotila. Toto vyhodnocení mi ukázalo mnoho informací. Většina respondentů se o Pretiu dozvěděla z letáčků nebo od sociální pracovnice Pretia. Všichni klienti mého výzkumu jsou spokojeni se službami sociálních pracovníků v Pretiu a tito klienti respektují jejich práci. Tyto výsledky mi udělaly velkou radodost. Myslím, že senioři skutečně potřebují služby Pretia. Dovolila bych si říci, že zaměstnanci Pretia jsou velice tvořiví a schopni nacházet vhodné aktivity pro každého seniora. Podle mého názoru chtějí senioři žít smysluplný život, i když nemají vitalitu jako v dřívějších dobách. Myslím, že cíl aktivizace je v podporování a zlepšování schopností a dovedností seniorů přestože mají různá onemocnění.

Abstract:

I chose this topic for my Bachelor thesis, because It is my favourite and big sense to me. The title of my Bachelor thesis is: The meaning of activation for preservation of quality seniors life. In the theoretical part I concentrated on the definition and periodization of old age and some of the illnesses which are very common for old people in this time. The main chapter is about the activation of seniors. I wrote about different techniques of activation in the next chapters. These techniques contain art-theraphy, music-theraphy and reminiscence. The second important chapter is about structure and services of Organization Pretium. I conducted a research where I used a semi-structured interview with clients of the Organization Pretium. I wanted to know how they found out about Organization Pretium, What their techniques of activation fit them and if they are more satisfied then before. After I conducted the interviews I evaluated them. Thise evaluation has shown me a lot of information. Most of there pondants found out about Organization Pretium by leaf lets or through the social workers of Pretium. All of my research clients were satisfied with services of social workers in Pretium and these clients are so respected their work. These results have over joyed me. I think that seniors really need the services of the Pretium. I would even afford to say that the employees of Pretium are very creative and that they are capable to find a suitable activity for every senior. In my opinion seniors want to live a meaning full life, although they do not have as much vitality, as when they were younger. I think that the aim of acivation is in the supporting and improvement of senior´s abilities and skills, although these niors have different illnesses.
