Gender Problems of Employment in the Gender Stereotypes Context

Abstract:

Zajištění duševní i tělesné pohody, ochrany lidských práv a rovnosti na základě věku, pohlaví, rasy, národnosti, atd. se spolu s udržitelným hospodářským rozvojem stává nejdůležitějším cílem pro všechny země. Formální instituce jako jsou prováděcí dokumenty, zákony, aj., poskytují stejná práva pro muže i ženy. Ženy dnes hrají důležitou roli v oblasti zaměstnanosti a hospodářského rozvoje a jejich dovednosti a zkušenosti jsou nezbytné pro další pokrok ve společnosti. I přes dlouholeté úsilí o rovnost žen a mužů, má nerovnost nepříznivý dopad na ženy, muže, jejich rodiny, hospodářství a společnost jako celek. Po desetiletích záměrů vládních i nevládních organizací o dosažení rovnosti žen a mužů v oblasti zaměstnanosti, je zřejmé, že neformální instituce jako jsou genderové stereotypy i nadále tuto rovnostooomezují. Tato práce je zaměřena na studium vlivu genderových stereotypů v oblasti zaměstnanosti. Tento výzkum usiluje o zobrazení genderových stereotypů coby příčiny existence rozdílu mezi pohlavími v oblasti zaměstnanosti a měl by pomoci určit počátky genderové ekonomické nerovnosti a určit genderové vlastnosti personálního managementu s cílem překonat genderové nerovnosti a zvýšit produktivitu pracovníků v rámci organizace.

Abstract:

Securing the well-being, protection of human rights and equality on the ground of age, gender, race, nationality etc along with sustainable economic development becomes most important goal for any country. The formal institutions such as regulatory documents, law etc have granted men and women similar rights and women today have played a vital role in employment and economic development and their skills and experiences are necessary for further progress of society. Despite of longstanding striving for gender equality, the inequality has adverse impacts on women, men, their families, the economy and society as a whole. After decades of government and non-government organizations' intentions to achieve gender equality in the employment sphere, it becomes obvious that non-formal institutions such as gender stereotypes continue to limit gender equality.This paper is focused on the study of gender stereotypes impact the employment sphere. Present research aims to view gender stereotypes as causes of existence of a gender gap in an employment sphere and should help to determine the beginnings of gender economic inequality and to specify the gender features of personnel management with purpose to overcome gender inequality and increase personnel productivity within an organization.
