Předmětem této studie je hledání ukázek „uncanny“ (podivné, tajuplné, zlověstné, mysteriózní, známé a současně neznámé) v literatuře, která je hlavním předmětem zkoumání této magisterské práce. This study is an attempt to address the issue of the uncanny in literature, which is the main subject to research in the thesis. The rest concerns the uncanny in visual media and part of the thesis is devoted to the uncanny in reality and cultural events.
