Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá pohledem na britskou společnost a přetrvávající třídní rozdíly na pozadí románu The Queen and I od anglické autorky Sue Townsend. Nabízí užší analýzu aspektů střetu mezi světem aristokratické elity a životem lidí ze dna společnosti, pracující třídou.
Abstract:
This thesis aims to provide a perspective of British society and its persisting class division on the background of the novel The Queen and I by the English author Sue Townsend. It offers a close analysis of the aspects of the clash between the world of the aristocratic elite, and the life of people from the bottom of the society, the working class.
