Commented translation of an excerpt from medical text

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the translation of a medical text from French to Czech. The original text represents an excerpt from the book in the field of bipolar disorder and connected mental disorders. This thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part consists of the presentation of the original text and its translation. The second part is dedicated the translation commentary and its stylistic, syntactic and lexical analyses. The bilingual French-Czech glossary of the terms excerpted from this text follows in the third part.

Abstract:

Le présent mémoire de master se consacre ? la traduction commentée d'un texte médical de la langue française vers la langue tch?que. Le texte de départ représente un extrait de l'ouvrage du domaine des troubles bipolaires et les troubles mentaux associés. Ce mémoire est divisé en trois parties principales. La premi?re partie comporte la présentation du texte de départ et sa traduction. Dans la deuxi?me partie se trouve le commentaire de la traduction et ses analyses stylistique, syntaxique et lexicale. Le glossaire bilingue français-tch?que des termes extraits de ce texte suit dans la troisi?me partie.
