Immovable industrial monuments in Beroun and the possibilities of their utilization

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na problematiku nemovitých industriálních památek, konkrétně v lokalitě Berounska. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány pojmy, potřebné pro pochopení daného tématu. Cílem práce je pak analýza současné situace v oblasti péče a přístupu k industriálním památkám. V praktické části se snaží se o zmapování stavu průmyslových památek na Berounsku. Výsledkem je soupis jednotlivých objektů včetně jejich kategorizace, stavu a míry památkové ochrany a zjištění možností dalšího smysluplného využití vybraných objektů. Při tom se práce snaží brát ohled na sociální, kulturní a ekonomické aspekty dané problematiky. Práce čerpá z odborné literatury, analýzy rozvojových dokumentů města Beroun a z rozhovorů s odborníky v oblasti architektury a památkové péče.

Abstract:

This work focuses on the issue of immovable industrial monuments, specifically in the Beroun region. The theoretical part defines the terms needed for understanding the topic. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current situation in the area of protection and access to industrial monuments. The practical part tries to map the state of industrial monuments in the Beroun region. The result is an inventory of individual buildings, including their categorization, status and degree of conservation, and the possibility of further meaningful use of selected objects. In doing so, the work seeks to take into account the social, cultural and economic aspects of the issue. The work draws on literature, analysis of development documents of the city of Beroun and interviews with experts in the field of architecture and heritage conservation.
