Práce se zabývá problematikou finančních derivátů se zaměřením na opce. Po základním nastínění dělení finančních derivátů jsou v dalších částech práce řešeny pouze burzovně obchodované opční kontrakty, které jsou představeny jako prostředek pro zajištění a zhodnocení investorem drženého kapitálu. Diploma thesis is focused on financial derivatives topic, in particular on options. After the elementary analysis of different types of financial derivatives, the thesis is mainly focused on option trading through the stock exchange.
