Abstract:

Primárním cílem této práce je zanalyzovat stav a úroveň mediální a informační gramotnosti u starších vedoucích pracovníků (+55 let). Sekundárním cílem je poté bližší přiblížení problematiky rozeznávání informací a následné nakládání s nimi. Teoretická část zahrnuje detailní současný stav poznání vzhledem k tématu práce. Pro splnění cílů práce byl proveden kvantitativní výzkum za pomoci dotazníkového šetření, jehož respondenti byli mladší 55 let. V rámci následné určité komparace byl rovněž vyhotoven kvalitativní výzkum, realizovaný skrze individuální hloubkové rozhovory s vedoucími pracovníky staršími 55 let. Analýza prokázala, že na věrohodnost informace pro staršího manažera má vliv především její zdroj. Pokud sledovaná skupina šíří fake news, tak je to pouze pod časovým tlakem. Z výsledků šetření je rovněž patrné, že starší vedoucí pracovníci jsou pro zaměstnavatele spíše přínosnější, než mladší. Nicméně tvrzení nelze zobecňovat na celou českou populaci, neboť vybraný vzorek není reprezentativní.

Abstract:

The primary goal of this work is to analyze the state and level of media and information literacy of senior executives (+55 years). The secondary goal is then a closer approach to the issue of information recognition and subsequent handling. The theoretical part includes a detailed current state of knowledge with respect to the topic of the work. To meet the objectives of the work, a quantitative research was conducted with the help of a questionnaire survey, the respondents of which were younger than 55 years. As part of a subsequent comparison, a qualitative research was also carried out, carried out through individual in-depth interviews with managers over the age of 55. The analysis showed that the credibility of the information for the senior manager is mainly influenced by its source. If the monitored group spreads fake news, it is only under time pressure. The results of the survey also show that older managers are more beneficial to employers than younger ones. However, the statement cannot be generalized to the entire Czech population, as the selected sample is not representative.
