Plasma synthesis of nanoparticles in low-pressure discharge
Abstract:
Iron-based nanopowder was synthesised by plasmochemical method. Surface-wave discharge was sustained in low-pressure argon atmosphere by 2.45 GHz microwaves. Iron pentacarbonyl Fe(CO)5 was added into the discharge. Nanoparticles were passivated by oxygen flowing into the reaction tube after turning off the discharge. Abstract:
Plazmochemickou metódou bol vytvorený nanoprášok na báze železa. Výboj s povrchovou vlnou bol budený v argónovej atmosfére za zníženého tlaku mikrovlnami s frekvenciou 2.45 GHz. Do výboja bol pridaný pentakarbonyl železa Fe(CO)5. Častice boli pasivované kyslíkom pridaným do reakčnej trubice po zhasnutí výboja.
