Remediation of mining uranium ore

Abstract:

Problematika důlních vod je řešena státním podnikem DIAMO se sídlem ve Stráži pod Ralskem, především jeho odštěpným závodem GEAM Dolní Rožínka Jak je známo, tento podnik má pod správou čistírny důlních vod na území České republiky. Zde jsou čištěny vody pocházející z ložisek uranových rud. Další činnost, která je prováděna tímto podnikem, jsou sanace po těžbě těchto uranových rud. Hlavním úkolem sanačních technologií je uvést těžební oblast do původního stavu a začlenit jí do příslušné krajiny. Jedná se o systém na sebe navazujících kroků. Jde především o odstranění kontaminované vody a zeminy, likvidace a zatápění podzemních prostor a demolice povrchových objektů. V konečné fázi sanace je prováděna biologická rekultivace, kdy jsou vysazovány travní a lesní porosty, podle příslušné oblasti. Tyto zrekultivované oblasti jsou, ve většině případů, převedeny pod správu státního podniku Lesy ČR.

Abstract:

The problem of mine water is regulated primarily by state enterprise DIAMO based in Stráž pod Ralskem. As is known, the company has under management of mine water treatment in the Czech Republic. Here are cleaned water from deposits of uranium ore. Another activity that is carried out by this company are the rehabilitation of the mining of the uranium ore. The main task of sanitation technologies is to bring the mining area to the original condition and incorporate it into the appropriate landscape. It is a system of interconnected steps. It is necessary to remove the contaminated water and soil, destruction and flooding of underground space and the demolition of surface facilities. In the final phase of the redevelopment are carried out biological recultivation, which are planted grass and forests, according to the area. These reclaimed areas are in most cases transferred under the administration of the state enterprise Lesy ČR.
