Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce „Trávení volného času na sociálních sítí u žáků středních škol“ je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na sociální sítě. Věnuje se jejich definici a funkcím, specifickým rysům používání a analýze motivů adolescentů k volnočasovému trávení na sociálních sítích. Dále se práce zabývá sociálními sítěmi v kontextu volného času. Zde jsou představena různá pojetí volného času, současná úloha hromadných sdělovacích prostředků a sociálních sítí ve volném čase dětí a mládeže a také sociální sítě jako neorganizovaná volnočasová aktivita. Poslední kapitola teoretické části informuje o vybraných rizikách spojených s používáním sociálních sítí. Empirická část prezentuje výzkum týkající se trávení volného času na sociálních sítích žáků středních škol. Pro sběr dat byl zvolen kvantitativní přístup s pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké jsou nejčastější motivy žáků středních škol k založení profilu na sociálních sítích a nejčastější motivy k trávení volného času na sociálních sítích. Dále práce zjišťuje, kolik svého volného času na sociálních sítích žáci středních škol denně stráví a rovněž je cílem práce zjistit, která vybraná rizika spojená s jejich používáním tato věková skupina osobně zažila. V souvislosti s riziky sociálních sítích se práce zabývá vztahem mezi nejdůležitějším motivem k trávení volného času na sociálních sítích a rizikem sociálních sítí, které žáci středních škol osobně zažili nejčastěji.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part deals with the social media. It is focused on its definition and function, specific features of using the social media and analysis of adolescent’s motives for their spare time spent on social media. The next point which is showed in the theoretical part is the social media in the context of spare time. There are presented different conceptions of spare time, contemporary role of mass media and social media in children’s and youth’s spare time and there are also introduced the social media as an unorganized spare time activity. The last chapter of the theoretical part informes about the particular risks of the social media. The empirical part presents the research related to spare time spent on social media of high school students. For the research was chosen the quantitative method through the questionnary survey. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out which are the most common high school students‘ motives for creating an account on the social media and which are the most common high school students‘ motives for their spare time spent on social media. The next aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out high school students‘ amount of spare time daily spent on social media and also find out which particular risks associated with their use have personally experienced this age category. Relating to the risks of the social media, the empirical part deals with the relationship between the most important motive for spare time spent on social media and the most often risk of the social media personally experienced by high school students.
