Generative Design of a Component in Solid Edge.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na generativní návrh v programu Solid Edge. Jejím cílem je vytvořit generativní návrh na základě zadané součásti, kterou je nástěnný držák na dataprojektor. Součástí práce je popis uživatelského rozhraní i jednotlivých příkazů v modulu "Generativní návrh". Je zde také popsán postup provádění simulace MKP vymodelované součásti a generativního návrhu v programu Solid Edge. Po provedení generativního návrhu následuje výroba 3D tiskem a poté mechanická zkouška vytištěných součástí, přičemž jsou porovnány hodnoty zatížení a posunutí mezi několika variantami materiálů PLA, ASA a PC.

Abstract:

This master thesis focuses on generative design in Solid Edge. The aim of the thesis is to create a generative design based on a defined part, which is a wall mount for a data projector. The thesis includes a description of the user interface and the individual commands in the "Generative Design" module. The procedure of performing FEM simulation of the modelled part and generative design in Solid Edge is also described. The generative design is followed by 3D printing production and mechanical testing of the printed parts, whereas load and displacement values are compared between several variations of PLA, ASA and PC materials.
