Telephone Crisis Intervention as a Form of Help for a Child in a Crisis Situation

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá telefonickou krizovou intervencí jako formou pomoci dítěti v krizové situaci. Konkrétně se soustřeďuje na poskytování této pomoci prostřednictvím Linky bezpečí – krizové linky pro děti a mládež. Důraz je kladen na popsání specifik a výhod telefonické krizové intervence v práci s dětským klientem. První část práce se věnuje krizi a jejím aspektům. Zaměřuje se na příčiny krize, její dynamiku a manifestaci v kontextu prožívání dítěte. Popisuje krizovou intervenci a to především její distanční formu, telefonickou krizovou intervenci. Následující část mapuje a hodnotí práci Linky bezpečí v letech 2005 – 2009. Analyzuje a interpretuje vývoj hovorů ve sledovaném období z hlediska pohlaví a věku klienta. Zjišťuje, jaká témata jsou na Lince bezpečí nejfrekventovanější, a odpovídá na otázku, komu se volající se svými problémy nejčastěji svěřují.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with telephone crisis intervention as a form of child help in a crisis situation. Specifically, it focuses on providing such assistance through Linka bezpečí - Crisis line for children and youth. Emphasis is placed on addressing the specifics and benefits of telephone crisis intervention in work with child clients. The first part deals with crisis and its aspects. It focuses on the causes of the crisis, its dynamics and manifestation in the context of the child's experience. Describes crisis intervention, in particular its distance form, telephone crisis intervention. The following section describes and evaluates the work of Linka bezpečí in the years 2005 - 2009. This section analyzes and interprets the development of calls in the period of five years in terms of gender and age of the client. Determines which problems are most frequent in Linka bezpečí, and answers the question, whom to the clients call for help.
