Analysis of cost management in contrete company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena v oblasti manažerského účetnictví na analýzu řízení nákladů na Veterinární a farmaceutické univerzitě v Brně (VFU Brno), a to s ohledem na záměr využití závěrů této analýzy pro vytvoření metodiky full cost na VFU Brno. První teoretická část je zaměřena na náklady jako základního pojmu manažerského účetnictví, s motivem potřebnosti informací o druzích nákladů, kteří řídící pracovníci potřebují na různé organizační úrovni, jednak pro řízení podnikatelského procesu, o němž již bylo rozhodnuto a jednak pro rozhodování o jeho budoucích variantách. Dále se v teoretické rovině zabývá vysvětlením metody full cost na vysokých školách. Druhá část je věnována analýze současného stavu řízení nákladů, přehledu používaných informačních zdrojích na VFU s ohledem na využití metodiky full cost. Z uvedeného důvodu je v rámci této kapitoly nejprve představena univerzita s jejími třemi fakultami, jejím posláním a aktivitami, organizačním členěním, strukturou nákladů s jejich promítnutím do nákladových středisek, v nichž jsou alokovány. Následně je provedena analýza nákladů. V závěru jsou shrnuty výsledky analýzy s prezentací navrhovaného konceptu metodiky full cost ve formě doporučení jako základního dokumentu pro přípravu a přijetí této metody na VFU Brno.

Abstract:

This bachelor work is focused on the area of managerial accounting - exactly on the analysis of the cost management at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno (VFU Brno) with the regard to use the conclusions of the work for establishing this methodology of full costs at the VFU Brno. The first theoretical part is aimed at the costs as the basic term in managerial accounting with the motif of the information need for costs types which the managerial workers at differential organization levels need firstly for managing the entrepreneurs process which has already been decided, and secondly for deciding its possible future variations. Further to this it also deals with theoretical explanation of this full costs method at universities. The second part is devoted to the analysis of current situation in cost managing, the overview of used information sources at the VFU with the regard to use the methodology of full costs. In this chapter due to this above stated reason there is firstly introduced the university with its three faculties, with its goals and activities, its divisions and its cost structure with projecting into particular cost centres where they are allocated. Consequently there is performed the cost analysis. In the conclusion there are summarized the analysis results with the presentation of this newly suggested concept of full costs methodology and this is done in the form of recommendation as the basic document for the preparation and admission of this method at the VFU.
