Public Guardianship through the Eyes of Municipal Social Workers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce přibližuje problematiku veřejného opatrovnictví pohledem sociálních pracovníků obce. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se nejprve seznámíme se samotným institutem veřejného opatrovnictví, který nám přiblíží historii, legislativní rámec, svéprávnost a právní jednání. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na členění duševních poruch. Třetí kapitola podrobněji přibližuje veřejné opatrovnictví. Praktická část se věnuje kvalitativnímu výzkumu, zaměřující se na pohled sociálních pracovníků obce na veřejné opatrovnictví, které vykonávají v rámci svého pracovního úvazku. Data byla získána za pomoci techniky polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s respondenty, které byly zpracovány a výsledky interpretovány. K tomu byla využita metoda zakotvené teorie.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with public guardianship. It approximates the issue of public guardianship from the point of view of the municipal social workers. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the reader is firstly acquainted with the institute of public guardianship itself. This brings them closer to its history, the legislative framework, self-righteousness and associated legal actions. The second chapter focuses on mental disorders and their division. The third theoretical chapter gives a closer look at the institution of public custody. The practical part is devoted to qualitative research that focuses on the view of the community's social workers on the public guardianship which they exercise as part of their work. The data were obtained using a semi-structured interview technique with respondents, they were then processed and the results interpreted. This was done using the grounded theory method.
