Abstract:

Systémy protiraketové obrany se staly nedílnou součástí výzkumu mezinárodních vztahů zejména v průběhu studené války. Pozornost výzkumníků se zaměřuje především na Spojené státy americké a Sovětský svaz, později Ruskou federaci, a to i po konci studené války. Mnoho dalších států, které vyvíjejí nebo vlastní systémy protiraketové obrany, se ocitlo v stínu USA a Ruska. Jedním z těchto států je i Izrael. Cílem této diplomové práce tak je analyzovat izraelské systémy protiraketové obrany, jejich charakteristiky a následně je analyzovat v rámci mezinárodního a bezpečnostního prostředí Izraele.

Abstract:

During the Cold War, systems of missile defense have become an integral part of research of science of international relations. Even after the end of the Cold War, attention of scientists has been focused mainly on the United States of America and on Soviet Union, later Russian Federation. Many other states, which are developing or possess their own missile defense systems, have found themselves in the track of the USA and Russia. One of these states is Israel. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyze Israeli missile defense systems, their characteristic features and to analyze the foundings in the framework of international and security environment of Israel.
