Technology of growing head cabbage with using mineral fertilizers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním technologie pěstování hlávkového zelí s využitím minerálních hnojiv. Tato problematika byla popsána v rámci literárního přehledu včetně agroekologických požadavků hlávkového zelí a jeho sortimentu domácích i zahraničních odrůd. Pozornost byla věnována i obsahu nutričních hodnot zelí uváděnými Kopcem (1998) a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) a jejich významu na výživu člověka. Součástí práce bylo založení polního experimentu ve dvou lokalitách s pěti vybranými odrůdami hlávkového zelí, u nichž byly provedeny laboratorními metodami rozbory na obsah nutričních látek. Na základě zjištěných výsledků bylo provedeno porovnání v rámci jednotlivých odrůd, jejich průměrů dle pěstovaných lokalit i srovnání s údaji uváděnými Kopcem (1998) a USDA. Na základě statistické průkaznosti vyplynulo, že lepších výsledků ze sledovaných odrůd ´Ancoma F1´, ´Jubilee F1´, ´Lagrima F1, ´Megaton F1´ a ´Zerlina F1´ pěstovaných v lokalitách Josefov a Veselí nad Moravou dosáhly odrůdy ´Zerlina F1´, ´Jubilee F1´ a ´Megaton F1´. Vyšších hodnot nutričních látek bylo z hlediska pěstebních lokalit dosaženo ve Veselí nad Moravou. Ze srovnání průměrů nutričních hodnot odrůd s údaji Kopce (1998) a USDA vyplynulo, že testované odrůdy vykázaly u většiny nutričních ukazatelů vyšších hodnot a zároveň byly svými obsahy bližší údajům Kopce (1998) než údajům USDA.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the research of the technology of growing cabbage using mineral fertilizers. This issue was described in the literature review, including agroecological requirements of head cabbage and its range of domestic and foreign varieties. Attention was also paid to the content of nutritional values of cabbage reported by Kopec (1998) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and their importance for human nutrition. Part of the work was the establishment of a field experiment in two localities with five selected varieties of head cabbage, in which analyzes of nutrient content were performed by laboratory methods. Based on the results, a comparison was made within individual varieties, their averages according to cultivated localities and a comparison with the data reported by Kopec (1998) and the USDA. Based on statistical evidence, better results from the monitored varieties ´Ancoma F1´, ´Jubilee F1´, ´Lagrima F1, ´Megaton F1´ and ´Zerlina F1´ grown in the localities Josefov and Veselí nad Moravou achieved the varieties ´Zerlina F1´, ´Jubilee F1´ and ´Megaton F1´. Higher values of nutrients were achieved in terms of growing localities in Veselí nad Moravou. A comparison of the averages of the nutritional values of the varieties with the data of Kopce (1998) and USDA showed that the tested varieties showed higher values for most nutritional indicators and at the same time their contents were closer to the data of Kopce (1998) than the data of USDA.
