Metoda sledování paprsku s využitím oktalových stromů

Octree-based Ray Tracer
Abstract:
Obsahem této práce je popis postupů globálního osvětlování a implementace aplikace zobrazující trojrozměrné grafické scény pomocí Metody sledování paprsku. Pro urychlení výpočtu jsou popsány a implementovány metody dělení prostoru, především oktalové stromy. Dalším výsledkem práce je porovnání efektivity a struktury oktalových stromů vytvářených při rozdílných ukončovacích kritériích.
Abstract:
The main goal of the bachelor’s thesis is to describe algorithms of global illumination and to implement an application depicting 3D scenes with use of Ray tracing. The methods of space division, especially octree, are described and implemented for acceleration of calculation. Another result of my thesis is comparison of effectiveness and structure of octrees built with a various ending criteria.
