Rehabilitation of the foot after traumatic amputation of the second toe with plantar skin plasty

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pacientem s traumatickou amputací druhého prstce a plastikou kůže plosky nohy. Na základě prostudovaných zdrojů jsou v práci popsány možné terapeutické prostředky pro pacienta po amputaci a postupy při řešení kožních transplantací i protetických náhrad. V praktické části je zkoumán pacient se starším již zhojeným defektem. Cílem práce je prevence možných sekundárních komplikací. Při vyšetření byly zjištěny patologie vzniklé z důvodu špatného používání nohy. V průběhu terapie došlo ke zlepšení některých pohybových stereotypů a pacient byl vybaven silikonovou protetickou pomůckou, která kompenzuje defekt nohy. Praktická část poukazuje na zlepšení stavu i po několika letech od vzniku úrazu a doporučení vybavení protetickou pomůckou v subakutním stadiu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with patient after traumatic amputation of the second toe and plantar skin plasty. Based on the sources that were studied, the thesis describes the possible therapeutic means for the patient after amputation and the procedures for the management of skin grafts and prosthetic replacements. The practical section is an examination of a patient with an older defect that has already healed. The aim of this thesis is to prevent possible secondary complications. The examination revealed pathologies arising from poor use of the leg. During the course of therapy, some movement stereotypes were improved and the patient was fitted with a silicone prosthetic device to compensate for the foot defect. The practical section points out the improvement of the condition even several years after the injury and the recommendation of fitting the prosthetic device in the subacute stage.
