Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je: „Trendy v hotelnictví pro rok 2017“. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat současné trendy v oboru hotelnictví pro rok 2017. Práce se zabývá vybranými trendy, o kterých by měl mít hoteliér povědomí a zároveň je zvládnout analyzovat. Analýza trendů vychází z celkové ekonomické situace, ze spotřebitelské důvěry, rostoucího konkurenčního boje v oboru hotelnictví, měnících se preferencí spotřebitelů, vlivu internetových rezervačních serverů na nabídku a ceny a cílí na zákazníky budoucnosti. Dílčím cílem je popsat vývoj těchto trendů, jejich dopad na současné hotelnictví, potvrdit či vyvrátit stanovenou hypotézu. Text je členěn na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy - trend, hotelnictví, marketing, revenue a yield management a channel manager. Teoretická část také pojednává o vybraných trendech v oboru. V analytické části se práce zabývá konkrétním trendem – správou a použitím channel manageru, a to metodikou expertního rozhovoru s vedoucí ubytovacího úseku vybraného hotelu. Dále v praktické části detailně popisuji dva projekty zaměřené na marketingové plánování hotelu. Výstup popisu těchto projektů slouží jako návod pro širší, ale i odbornou veřejnost, jak realizovat marketing v praxi a jak se dá reálně využít sledování trendů v hotelnictví.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is "Trends in the hotel industry for the year 2017". The main objective is to analyse current trends in the hotel industry for year 2017. The thesis deals with selected trends, which the hotelier should be aware of and at the same time able to analyse them. Trend analysis is based on the overall economic situation, consumer confidence, growing competition in the hotel industry, changing consumer preferences, the impact of online booking servers on offer and pricing, and targeting future customers. The partial aim is to describe the development of these trends, their impact on contemporary hotels, to confirm or rebut the established hypothesis. The text is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are defined terms - trend, hotel industry, marketing, revenue and yield management and channel manager. In the analytical part, the thesis deals with a particular trend - administration and use of the channel manager with the methodology of an expert interview with the manager of the accommodation section of the selected hotel. Further, in the practical part, I describe two projects focused on hotel marketing. Output of the description of these projects serves as a guide for the wider but also the professional public, how to implement marketing in practice and how to use trending trends in the hotel industry.
