Geodetic monitoring of meander of the Odra river (the third and the fourth period)

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zjištění rychlosti boční eroze vybraných meandrových břehů přirozené části koryta řeky Odry na území města Ostravy. V terénu byly břehy měřeny běžnými geodetickými metodami, a to v rámci třetí a čtvrté etapy monitoringu v letech 2009 a 2010. Data první a druhé etapy byla převzata z bakalářských prací vytvořených v dřívějších letech. Kromě vyhodnocení rychlosti boční eroze byla také zkoumána závislost této rychlosti na geometrii břehů, která byla charakterizována poloměrem kružnice proložené daným břehem.

Abstract:

The aim of my diploma thesis is the survey of the side erosion?s pace of chosen serpentine banks. They are the natural parts of Odra riverbed which is situated in Ostrava. The banks were measured with geodetical methods in the terrain which included the third and the fourth monitoring phase in 2009 and 2010. Dates of the first and the second phase were taken over from bachelor thesis which were created in the previous years. The evalution of the side erosion was examined moreover also there was examined the dependence of this pace on the geometry of the bank which was characterised radius of circle interlarded with the bank.
