Student Attitudes about the Phenomenon of Homelessness

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá postoji studentů k fenoménu bezdomovectví. Úvodní kapitoly se věnují definování pojmů bezdomovectví a postojů, jejich struktuře utváření a dalším vlastnostem. Bezdomovectví je v dnešní době fenoménem, a proto je zde popsáno utváření bezdomovectví, stadia a jeho faktory. Podrobněji je zde popsáno i utváření, změna a měření postojů. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit postoje studentů k fenoménu bezdomovectví a dále jsou vytyčeny specifické cíle. Mezi specifické cíle patří zjištění rozdílu v postojích mezi muži a ženami, mezi střední a vysokou školou a mezi muži na střední a vysoké škole, ale také mezi ženami na střední a vysoké škole. Výsledky hlavního cíle potvrdily spíše negativní postoj studentů k bezdomovectví a ve výsledcích jednotlivých specifických cílů jsem neshledal výraznější rozdíly.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the attitudes of students towards homelessness. The introductory chapters define terms and attitudes as well as the process of formation and other characteristics. The homelessness is the phenomenon of today so this thesis examine all possible factors, phases and stages of its formation. Main aim of the thesis is to find out the attitude of students towards homelessness. Besides that, the thesis has some specific aims, such as examination of the difference between attitudes of men and women as well as the difference between attitudes of men and women with finnsihed secondary respectivelly university education. Results of the main researched area confirmed more likely negative attitude of students toward homelessness. There was almost no difference in results of other specific areas.
