Abstract:
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to examine contemporary rap and hip hop music in connection to images of black women, which this kind of music presents. It examines how black women are usually treated in the hip hop industry, as well as how they are depicted in the lyrics of rap songs and in rap music videos. Its aim is also to find out the roots of this so called culture of disrespect.Abstract:
Cílem této práce je zkoumat hip hopovou kulturu v souvislosti s tím, jak ve své hudbě prezentuje černošské ženy. Zkomá, jak jsou zobrazovány v rapových videjích a současně se snaží zjistit, proč se s nimi zachází bez úcty a respektu Její důležitou součásti je také analýza textů současných představitelů amerického rapu. Jejím cílem je také zjistit, kde jsou kořeny této tzv. kultury bez respektu.
