Inversion in a circle
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá geometrickým zobrazením zvaným kruhová inverze. První kapitola obsahuje definice použitých pojmů a základních vlastností kruhové inverze. Druhá kapitola zkoumá vlastnosti obrazů kruhových křivek, sinových spirál a kuželoseček v inverzi. Poslední kapitola práce uvádí aplikace kruhové inverze a zaměřuje se především na řešení Apolloniových a Pappových úloh.
Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis deals with a geometric transformation called circle inversion. The first chapter contains the definitions of used concepts and the basic properties of circle inversion. The second chapter explores the inverse images of generalised circles, sinusoidal spirals, and conic sections.
