The translation of proper names and geographical names from Czech into Russian

Abstract:

The work deals with the translation of names of warm water (exclusively names and surnames), and geographic names (only specifically names of cities) in contemporary Russian. Refers to adaptation Czech own names and geographical names in the Russian environment and applied orthographic and grammatical rules in their transcription in the Russian language. Solution to their integration into Russian with the help of audio and graphic resources and adaptation based on grammatical rules. In the theoretical part describes the history of the development of both languages, onomastics and her group, a trait formation of proper names and geographical names in English and Russian, types of translation methods and translation problems. In the practical part we looked Analysis of translation, comparing the transcript Czech names in Russian with the help of practical transcription and its faulty pronunciation of Russian-speaking people.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou překladu vlastních jmen (výhradně jmen a příjmení) a geografických názvů (konkrétně názvů měst) v současné ruštině. Týká se adaptace českých vlastních jmen a geografických názvů v ruském prostředí a aplikovaní ortografických a gramatických pravidel při jejich přepisu do ruského jazyka, řešení jejich začleňování do ruštiny za pomocí zvukových a grafických prostředků a také adaptace na základě mluvnických pravidel. V teoretické části je popsána historie vývoje obou jazyků, onomastika a její skupiny, určité zvláštnosti tvoření vlastních jmen a geografických názvů v češtině a ruštině, druhy překladatelských metod a překladatelské problémy. V praktické části práce jsme se zabývali analýzou překladu, srovnáním přepisu českých názvů do ruštiny za pomocí praktické transkripce a chybnou výslovností rusky mluvících lidí.
