Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám mobilizací čs. vojenského letectva v roce 1938, se zvláštním důrazem na činnost Leteckého pluku 4. V první kapitole popisuji obecně historické skutečnosti a politickou aktivitu v ČSR vedoucí k vyhlášení mobilizace. V dalších kapitolách pokračuji historií Leteckého pluku 4, jeho dislokací, výzbrojí a osobnostmi, které u této jednotky sloužily. Mapuji přesun jednotlivých složek pluku na polní letiště, personální obsazenost, zařazení do vyšších vojenských uskupení a úkoly pluku při obraně republiky. V druhé části práce se zabývám návratem na stálé základny po odstoupení československého pohraničí, činností pluku v období tzv. "druhé republiky" a jeho rozpuštěním v březnu 1939. Ve své práci chci využít, kromě dostupné literatury, hlavně archiválie Vojenského ústředního archivu, týkající se Leteckého pluku 4 (denní rozkazy a další písemnosti), dokumentace generálního štábu a dalších vojenských složek.

Abstract:

In my thesis I deal with mobilization of the Czechoslovak Air Force in 1938, with special emphasis on the activity of 4th aviation regiment. The first chapter describes generally historical facts and political activity in Czechoslovakia leading to the announcement of mobilization. In following chapters I continue with a history of the 4th aviation regiment, its dislocations, armament, people that served with this unit, staffing and inclusion into higher military groupings. I map movements of individual components of the regiment to field airports, and the regiment's tasks in the defense of the republic, documenting the return to permanent bases after the withdrawal of Czechoslovak border, actions of the regiment in the "second republic" period and its dissolution in March 1939. In my dissertation I want to use in addition to the available literature, the archival materials of a Central military archives concerning the 4th Aviation Regiment (daily commands and other documents), documentation of the General Staff and other military components.
