Cieľom práce je vysvetliť koncept Differential Object Marking (DOM) a jeho podobu v slovenčine, a pokúsiť sa vysvetliť jeho funkciu v tomto jazyku. DOM sa v slovenčine vyskytuje na bežne prijatých škálach životnosti a špecifickosti, v životných maskuliných substantívach a zámenách. Abstract:
The goal of this thesis is to explain the concept of Differential Object Marking (DOM) and it’s appearance in Slovak, and attempt to explain its functioning within the language. DOM in Slovak exhibits on the two commonly accepted axes, animacy and definiteness, in animate masculine nouns and third person pronouns respectively.
