The emergence and functioning of inter-municipal cooperation

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je pomocí analýzy vybraných dobrovolných svazků obcí v Pardubickém kraji identifikovat faktory motivující obce ke spolupráci a ovlivňující její fungování, ale také vymezit limity této spolupráce. V první části práce jsou uvedena teoretická východiska týkající se fragmentované územní struktury a následně spolupráce obcí, jakožto jednoho z možných řešení. Výzkumná část je zaměřena na analýzu vybraných svazků obcí. V závěru je provedena jejich komparace a zhodnocení.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify, using analysis of selected voluntary associations of municipalities in the Pardubice region, the factors motivating the municipality to cooperate and affect its function-ing, but also to define the limits of this cooperation. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical basis of the fragmented territorial struc-ture and cooperation of municipalities, as one of the possible solutions. The research part is focused on the analysis of selected voluntary asso-ciations of municipalities. In the end, their comparison and evaluation are made.
