Integration of a life experience: research applicability of the life-line method

Abstract:

V kontextu narativního přístupu je tato práce zaměřena na subjektivní vnímání plynoucího života a jeho vyjádření pomocí životní křivky. Zaměřujeme se na možnost využití kresby životní křivky při zjišťování toho, jak dospělý jedinec pociťuje sám sebe jako koherentní bytost začleněnou do celku světa. Provedli jsme formální analýzu tvaru životní křivky a hledali jsme, jestli toto ztvárnění může mít souvislost s mírou osobní koherence. Tuto charakteristiku jsme zjistili pomocí Antonovského škály sense of cohernce. Výzkum měl explorativní charakter a jeho cílem bylo rozšířit dosavadní poznatky o metodě životní křivky a přispět tak k jejímu dalšímu využívání ve výzkumu a diagnosticko-terapeutické praxi.

Abstract:

In the context of narrative approach is this thesis pointed to subjective sense of passing life and its expression by the life-line. We concerned on the possibilities of using a life-line technique on the recognition of a fact, how a subject in adulthood perceives himself as a coherent being integrated in the universe. We carried out a formal analysis of life-line shape and investigated with a relationship of an extent of personal coherence. This charakteristics is taken by the sense of coherence scale created by Antonovsky. The purpose of this explorative study was to extent an existing findings about a life-line method and redound to its utilize in a research and in a diagnostic and therapeutic field.
