The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the constructions with the conjunction jako by and their German equivalents. In the theoretical part, both Czech and German subordinating conjunctions as well as subordinate sentences are analysed. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza konstrukcí se spojkou jako by a rovněž jejich německých ekvivalentů. V teoretické části jsou rozebrány české i německé podřadicí spojky, stejně jako podřadná souvětí. Dále jsou popsány srovnávací věty a s nimi se pojící věty nereálné v češtině i němčině a samotná spojka jako by.
