Pedagogical Aid for Visually Impaired Students in Distance Education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je tematicky orientována na problematiku poskytování podpory žákům se zrakovým postižením, a to ve specifických podmínkách realizace distanční výuky. Teoretická východiska práce jsou postavena na aktuálních poznatcích v oblasti zrakových vad a zrakového postižení, komplexní podpory žáků se zrakovým postižením či tyflodidaktiky. Pozornost je věnována také problematice distanční výuky v období pandemie onemocněnívyvolaným koronavirem SARS-CoV-2, se zřetelem na uvedenou cílovou skupinu. V empirické části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumného šetření, zacíleného na analýzu postupů vzdělávání a poskytování podpory žákům se zrakovým postižením v době distanční výuky. Data jsou získávána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s učiteli vzdělávajícími žáky se zrakovým postižením. Výstupem práce jsou formulace strukturovaných doporučení pro využití získaných poznatků ve speciálně-pedagogické praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is themed on the issues of educational support for visually imapaired students while in the uncharestical conditions of distance learning. Theoretical basis of the thesis is constructed on the current knowledge of visual defects and visual impairment and complex educational support of students with visual impairment or typhlodidatics. Our focus is also concentrated on the matter of distance learning in the pandemic of illness induced by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 with consideration of our goal group. In the empirical part of the thesis are presented results of quality based research targeted on analysis of learning methods and providing educational support to visually impaired students during distance learning. The data are gathered through semi-structured interviews with teachers of visually impaired students. The outcome of this thesis is formulation of structured suggestions for applying obtained knowledge in special education practice.
