Human trematodes

Abstract:

Současné znalosti o zástupcích motolic parazitujících u člověka jsou v mnoha případech omezené či nejasné. U některých zástupců lze jen obtížně dohledat primární zdroje. Tyto primárně zdroje navíc často neobsahují akademicky podložené informace o nákaze člověka daným druhem a lze se setkat i s občasnými případy záměny jednotli-vých zástupců či experimentálními nákazami. Z těchto důvodů není snadné vytvořit seznam motolic parazitujících u člověka. Práce shrnuje a kriticky posuzuje současné znalosti o zástupcích motolic zaznamenaných u člověka. Výstupem je seznam 89 motolic jako pravých parazitů člověka ze 130 uváděných předchozími autory.

Abstract:

The current knowledge about the representatives of trematodes parasites in humans is in many cases limited or unclear. It is often difficult to get information about individual representatives. These primary sources recurrently lack scientifically backed and well-funded information about the human infection by the given species and it is also possible to encounter with occasional cases of confusion of individual representatives or experimental infections. For these reasons, it is difficult to get the list of verified trematodes of man. The work examines and critically assesses the current information on all digenean species reported from man. The output is a list of 89 human trematodes, which was created by a revision of the data with all 130 previously reported trematodes in man.
