Limitations and Narrative Possibilities of Livestreamed Theatre

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Limitace a narativní možnosti živě přenášené inscenace“ se zabývá specifiky živého přenosu tradiční divadelní inscenace, stejně jako inscenační tvorbou, která využívá živý přenos jako cílové médium. Tematickými ohnisky práce jsou narativní specifika takovýchto divadelních tvarů, dopady absence fyzického recipienta a vztah performer-kamera. Pojmenované prvky práce sleduje ve dvou případových studiích a analýze vlastní práce autora na živě přenášeném monodramatu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis “Limitations and Narrative Possibilities of Livestreamed Theatre” deals with the specifics of live broadcasting of traditional theatrical productions, as well as staging that uses live broadcasting as a target medium. The thematic foci of the work are the narrative specifics of such theatrical forms, the effects of the absence of a physical recipient and the performer-camera relationship. The thesis focuses on termed elements in two case studies and in an analysis of the author's own conception of a broadcasted monodrama.
